Music Video 101

In Music Video 101, kids will learn about what goes into making a small-scale music video that focuses equally on song, choreography, and story. Along the way, the students will get to vote on the choices that will make our music video.


Day 1 will be focused on generating ideas and deciding our song (i.e. What sort of images does the song bring to mind that could be shown on B Roll? Which location matches what we’re going for?).

ILS School-Year Camps run from 9:00am-4:00pm with options to extend Before Camp starting at 8:00am and After Camp until 6:00pm at the ILS Greenwood Studio. With a multi-day camp you can register your child for the days that they will attend; they do not need to register for the entire camp.

After Camp fees are waived for students currently enrolled in Afternoon Arts Classes, Before Camp is $15 per day. 

Please note there is a non-refundable $25 per day deposit due at the time of registration. Additionally, if this is the first time your child has enrolled in our programming you will be charged a first-time (one-time) non-refundable processing fee of $35 in addition to the camp fees.

These days will also be about establishing a story for our video, discussing costuming, learning about what goes into scouting for filming locations, and planning a 'shot list' for our filming day.

Day 5 is FILMING DAY! If time allows, we will spend the afternoon getting an introduction to video editing, which can be started during camp, finished after, and emailed to parents.
